PROFILE OF FUNMILAYO CHINOYE OGBOGU
Funmilayo Chinonye Ogbogu is a Human Resource Management Practitioner, an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel management of Nigeria. She has a diploma in HR Management from the same institution as well as a certificate in Strategic Human Resource management from the Cornell University in New York.
She is also an Associate Member of The Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD).
She started her career in Manufacturing as a graduate of Microbiology from the University of Benin before moving to Human Resources. She has extensive manufacturing and human resource management experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) spanning over 17 years.
Funmi worked in different functions including Production, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Technical Sales and Human Resources where she handled roles in Talent management, Recruitment, Business Partnering and Organizational Development including facilitating training.
She has been involved in change management initiatives including change in Enterprise Resource Technologies, implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Reorganization, restructuring of Human resources and rewards structures, developing and implementing training to meet training needs.
She has conducted different managerial, leadership and Human Resource training for over 1500 participants within and outside Cadbury Nigeria Plc.
She resigned from Cadbury in April 2012 to follow her passion in career counseling and capacity building. She is an executive Director of Negro Art Gallery in Surulere.
